Work starts on Edinburgh Park, set to create over 5,000 new jobs – The Scotsman

The Scotsman recently featured the progress of Parabola’s Edinburgh Park development, which has begun at 1 New Park Square. Scott Reid, deputy business editor at Scotland’s national newspaper, highlighted that the development will be capable of operating with a net zero carbon footprint and has the potential to create nearly 5,500 jobs for Edinburgh.

Further studies have shown that when the development is complete, the total number of job opportunities will increase to up to 7,000.

Peter Millican, owner and founder of Parabola, was quoted in the piece and said: "Parabola is delighted that we shall be starting work on the first phase of this vital new quarter of the city.”

Parabola’s Managing Director Tony Hordon also added: "We have a wonderful opportunity now to deliver an exemplar in commercial space and public realm so desperately needed by the city.”
