Two new creative opportunities have been announced in conjunction with Parabola’s Edinburgh Park development.

In collaboration with Stills, Parabola is supporting an early career photographer to capture Edinburgh Park and examine its relationship to the city centre, whether that be culturally, historically or geographically. The deadline for applications is 15th September, to begin in November 2019 and remuneration for the project also covers printing and framing costs for an exhibition in 2020.

Parabola is also commissioning a poet to produce a long poem in conjunction with Turner Prize-winning architect David Mach’s new multipurpose building Mach 1. The poet, who will also be in the early stage of their career, will receive £3000 for their piece which will be performed at Mach 1 in early summer 2020.
