Parabola purchased the old Binns/House of Fraser building in 2017. Simpson & Brown were appointed to look at conserving the building. Through a combination of careful conservation and new interventions, the building was transformed. The building has a diverse use and now boasts a new rooftop terrace and bonded warehouse in the basement.

Parabola’s regeneration of the building has resulted in a landmark new use as the Johnnie Walker building and preserves it for the future by enriching the story of the ever-changing Princes Street.
